The friendship pack, now for 6 to 8 year olds
Hello
After When Friendship Hurts came out, the question I got most was whether there was a version for younger children. There is now.
At six, seven and eight, friendship trouble sounds like this. Nobody would play with me. She said I can't come to her party. He changed the rules so he'd win. They are real hurts, and at this age a child usually needs a grown-up alongside to make sense of them.
This workbook is 27 pages made to do together. Short pages, faces to circle, pictures to draw and words to practise out loud. It covers being left out, playground problems, sharing, losing a game, mean words and making up, plus who can help and a calm-down first aid page.
It comes two ways. A printable PDF, and an interactive version that works best on a tablet, where a child can tap their answers, draw, and drag helper phrases into speech bubbles. At the back there are pages for you: supporting playdates, when to step in, and a one-page quick guide.
$24, both versions included.
