Start today, without waiting for an appointment
Some things do not need an appointment. A child who cannot name what they are feeling, a morning that falls apart before school, a teenager who knows what they want and cannot start — these are the moments the resources here were written for.
Every workbook began as something Emma made for a child in a session, then refined over twenty-five years of practice. Each one arrives the moment you buy it, as a print-ready PDF and an interactive version for a tablet or computer. Start with the free sample pages and see whether the writing suits your family.

About Emma
I am a psychologist with 25 years of experience supporting children, teenagers and their families. Throughout my career, I have worked across educational settings and private practice, helping young people better understand themselves and develop practical skills for managing ADHD, anxiety, big emotions and learning challenges.
After many years of seeing which strategies genuinely help children and families, I began creating the LEAP for Kids resource collection. These psychologist-developed resources bring together the practical tools, explanations and activities I use in my work, making them accessible to families, teachers and therapists.
Each resource is designed to be engaging, easy to use and grounded in psychological principles. Rather than expecting children and teenagers to simply “try harder,” the activities help them understand how their brains work, recognise what they are experiencing and practise strategies they can use in everyday life.
My aim is to provide practical, reassuring support that helps young people feel understood, capable and confident—both at home and at school.
